I thoroughly recommend the following picture books for children , teachers and parents. I have used 3 of them for whole class, working with parents and the child and have sent some home until they are no longer needed. Families have found them very valuable for discussions about issues and so have the children. Another excellent book that I have used in 3 situations. This was before I even knew the signs of autism in some girls. This particular girl LOVED cats and loved the book.
